Workshop: Form and Space
In the career we have four subjects in the first semester, and one of them is Workshop, and this subject is divided into three parts: Form and Space, architectural representation and only Workshop.
I like form and space because in class we learn about architecture in different ways, thinking about the problems that we have to solve in space, or understanding that people are directly related to what we do, because everything we do is for they. In the class we talk about different structures, how we can compose a structure or form that guidesour project or how we can make our projects look something without the need to use all that something.
In the last classes, we were preparing our last work to make a presentation about it,
it is about completing a cube without a total structure, using light as a substitute
for something solid. All projects look great.
All this we do in classes of form and space, and the other classes, in representation we work everything in paper, writing, drawing or painting, and in the workshop, we do models every week, where we must locate spaces in different ways as well the routes that pass through them.
